1.What Nuvaro Is — and Is Not

Nuvaro is an AI-powered executive coaching platform built on the coachalting methodology developed by James Burke over thirty years in senior leadership and fifteen years of professional coaching practice. It is designed to help business leaders think more clearly, work through complex situations, understand the people around them, and take better decisions.

Nuvaro is not any of the following, and must not be used as a substitute for:

• psychotherapy, counselling, or any form of clinical mental health support;
• medical advice or treatment;
• legal advice;
• financial or investment advice;
• crisis intervention or emergency services.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or any situation requiring urgent professional support, please contact a qualified professional or emergency service immediately.

Nuvaro’s coaching conversations draw on experience, established frameworks, and AI capability. They are designed to support your thinking — not to replace your judgement, and not to constitute professional advice in any regulated sense.

2.Who Can Use Nuvaro

Nuvaro is intended for adults (18 years of age or older) using the platform in a professional or leadership context. By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that:

• you are at least 18 years old;
• you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
• you are not using Nuvaro on behalf of a minor.

Nuvaro is currently available to users located in Switzerland. Access may be extended to other jurisdictions in future. Nuvaro AG reserves the right to restrict or withdraw access in any territory at any time.

3.Subscriptions and Payment

3.1The Subscription

Nuvaro is one subscription. Everything Nuvaro can do is included from the first day, whichever option you choose; what you choose is the duration. Prices shown at the time of subscription apply. Indicative prices are displayed on the website; final prices are confirmed at the point of purchase.

Discover

A free month with the full Nuvaro experience: coaching conversations, persistent memory across sessions, ongoing stakeholder understanding, written session summaries, documents and drafts (mandates, plans, meeting preparation), and document upload. No payment card is required. Your trial begins when you send your first message, and your access ends 30 days later. What you built stays with you: it is retained for twelve months in case you subscribe (see Section 4), and you can ask for it to be deleted at any time.

Paid durations

One month at CHF 160, three months at CHF 420, or twelve months at CHF 1,500. Each duration is a single payment, not a series of monthly charges. Capability is identical across all durations and the free Discover month; the durations differ only in length and price.

3.2Billing and Renewal

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each subscription period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will be notified before a renewal, so it never comes as a surprise. You authorise Nuvaro AG to charge your payment method on file for each renewal.

Prices may change. Nuvaro AG will give you at least 30 days’ notice of any price change before your next renewal date. If you do not cancel before the new price takes effect, you accept the revised price.

3.3Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will not receive a refund for the unused portion of a paid period, except where required by applicable law.

3.4No Upselling

Nuvaro AG will not use your subscription or your conversations to market additional products, courses, or services to you. Your subscription covers the service described — nothing more is ever for sale.

3.5Fair Use

Every subscription, and the free Discover month, includes a generous internal usage allowance, set well above what even intensive use of Nuvaro normally requires. The allowance is released month by month across your subscription, unused amounts carry over, and nothing is counted down or displayed while you work. In the rare case that the allowance is exhausted, Nuvaro tells you plainly on screen and coaching pauses until the next monthly release; you can also purchase a top-up at any time, which restores the allowance immediately. On request, we will tell you your actual consumption (see the Nuvaro Privacy Policy, Section 8, on your right of access).

4.Your Data and Retention

Nuvaro retains your data on one schedule, whatever your subscription duration, including the free Discover month.

While you subscribe

Everything is kept: your conversation history, session summaries, stakeholder profiles, generated documents, and uploaded documents. No deletion clock runs while you have an active subscription. During an active subscription, dialogue history is compacted (summarised and condensed) after two years to manage context efficiently, with the detail of older sessions replaced by a structured summary.

After your subscription or free month ends

A twelve-month window begins. Your data is retained for twelve months from the end of your most recent subscription, and the free Discover month counts as a subscription for this purpose. If you subscribe again within that window, everything is restored as you left it, and a fresh twelve months begins when the new subscription ends. If you do not, your coaching data is permanently deleted when the window closes. If you only used the free Discover month, your whole account is deleted with it; after a paid subscription, your account record (your name and email address) is kept so you can return, until you close your account or ask us to delete it, which you can do at any time. We remind you by email one month before the window closes.

During the twelve-month window

You can still sign in, view what Nuvaro remembers about you, export your data, and delete your account. Only the coaching conversation itself is unavailable without an active subscription.

Two exceptions apply. Health-related content that you have asked Nuvaro to keep is deleted when your access ends. And accounts whose free trial had already fully expired before this version of these Terms took effect are deleted on the schedule stated in the version that applied to them.

Health-related content that comes up in conversation is not carried into Nuvaro’s memory between sessions unless you have explicitly told Nuvaro to keep it. Exclusion is the default: Nuvaro explains this and offers you the choice before your first conversation, and you can change your decision at any time. Declining does not restrict your use of the service.

You may request the deletion of all data held about you at any time by contacting privacy@nuvaro.ch. Nuvaro AG will action this request without friction and within the timeframe required by applicable law.

5.Acceptable Use

You agree to use Nuvaro only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. In particular, you agree not to:

• use Nuvaro to obtain advice in any situation where the stakes require a qualified professional (medical, legal, financial, psychological) and not an AI coaching tool;
• input content that is unlawful, defamatory, or in breach of any third party’s rights;
• attempt to probe, reverse-engineer, or circumvent Nuvaro’s technical systems;
• use Nuvaro to train, fine-tune, or develop competing AI systems;
• share your account with others or allow third parties to access Nuvaro using your credentials;
• use Nuvaro in any way that could harm Nuvaro AG, its reputation, or other users.

Nuvaro AG reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where these obligations are not met.

6.Intellectual Property

6.1Nuvaro’s intellectual property

The coachalting methodology, the Nuvaro platform, its design, its frameworks, and all underlying technology are the intellectual property of Nuvaro AG or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of that property to you.

6.2Your content and outputs

Content you share with Nuvaro in conversation remains yours. Documents, summaries, and drafts generated by Nuvaro during your subscription are yours to use freely for your own professional purposes.

You grant Nuvaro AG a limited licence to process the content you share solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. Nuvaro AG does not use your conversation content to train AI models or for any purpose beyond delivering your subscription.

The one exception: when a conversation touches a topic outside Nuvaro’s existing coaching knowledge, a short, generic, de-identified description of that topic may be used to decide what new coaching knowledge to build. This applies to every subscription, including the free Discover month. Full detail is in the Nuvaro Privacy Policy, Section 2.7.

7.Limitation of Liability

Nuvaro is a coaching and thinking tool. It is not designed to be the sole basis for significant business, personal, or financial decisions, and you should not treat it as such.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Swiss law:

• Nuvaro AG provides the platform on an ‘as available’ basis and makes no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular outcome will result from its use;
• Nuvaro AG accepts no liability for decisions you make based on conversations with Nuvaro, including any business loss, financial loss, or reputational harm arising from such decisions;
• Nuvaro AG’s total liability to you under these Terms, for any cause, is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Swiss law.

8.Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.

If you are a consumer under Swiss law, you retain any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer protection legislation, regardless of what these Terms say.

9.Changes to These Terms

Nuvaro AG may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, you will be notified by email at least 30 days before the new Terms take effect. If you continue to use Nuvaro after that date, you accept the revised Terms. If you do not accept them, you may cancel your subscription before the new Terms come into force.
